Gorman was founded along the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the company began building marine structures for waterfront communities. From the beginning, the work was hands-on and practical, built on a simple standard: do the job right and stand behind it.

Over time, Gorman expanded beyond residential marine construction, developing the crews, equipment, and expertise required to take on more complex work. That growth led to deep foundations, bridge construction, and heavy civil infrastructure- positioning the company to compete in transportation and public infrastructure markets.

Today, Gorman performs marine, bridge, deep foundation, and heavy civil construction across the region, continuing to build on a reputation earned over decades of work.
