Working with Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity of Bay County puts its mission to work right here in our community, bringing volunteers and future homeowners together to build and rehabilitate affordable homes.
The organization also operates a local ReStore and gives individuals and businesses multiple ways to contribute their time, skills, materials, and resources.
Gorman is proud to be part of that work. Through volunteer projects with Habitat for Humanity of Bay County, our team gets the chance to take what we know about building and put it to work for something bigger than the job in front of us.
How the Construction Industry Can Help
For the construction industry, the connection is a natural one. Construction companies already know how to bring the right people, skills, materials, and resources together to get something built. Habitat creates an opportunity to put that experience to work in a different way.
Companies can provide volunteer crews, skilled labor, industry knowledge, building materials, financial support, and organized build days. Habitat also welcomes volunteers with no construction experience, giving experienced construction professionals the chance to work alongside others and help move the job forward.
At the end of the day, the work is familiar: show up, work together, solve problems, and build something that lasts.
